Rental questions
Do I need a motorcycle license?
Yes. You need a valid motorcycle license, approximately 2 years of riding experience, and you must be 25 years or older.
What do I need to bring when collecting a rental motorcycle?
Please bring your valid motorcycle license, identity document or passport, and the credit card required for the holding deposit.
What is included with my motorcycle rental?
A helmet is included with the rental. Jackets and gloves are available at an additional cost.
Is mileage included with the rental?
Yes. Rentals from 1 to 6 days include 350km per day. Rentals of 7 days or longer include unlimited kilometres per day.
What happens if I exceed the included kilometres?
Extra kilometres are charged at R4.00 per kilometre and are payable by card or cash.
Can I choose a specific motorcycle model?
Yes, you can request a preferred motorcycle model. Availability must be confirmed for your chosen dates.
Insurance & Deposits
Deposit, waiver, and insurance questions
Is there a rental deposit?
Yes. The rental deposit is model dependent. Please view the rental page to compare each motorcycle’s required deposit.
How is the deposit held?
A credit card is required for the holding deposit. The hold is released when the motorcycle is returned in the same condition as received.
How long does the deposit release take?
The bank release usually takes 7 to 10 working days, depending on the bank.
What insurance options do you offer?
Comprehensive insurance is included with a standard waiver of R6 000.00 or 10% of the claim value, whichever is greater.
Will the motorcycle be inspected before and after the rental?
Yes. The motorcycle is inspected with the client before and after the rental period, and any pre-existing damage is documented.

Guided motorcycle tour questions
What guided tours do you offer?
Guided tours include Chapman’s Peak, Cape Peninsula, Hermanus, Four Passes, and the Western Cape & Garden Route multi-day tour.
How long are the tours?
Half-day tours are approximately 4 to 5 hours. Full-day tours are approximately 8 to 9 hours. The Western Cape & Garden Route Tour is 13 days / 12 nights.
Can tours be customized?
Yes. Clients can contact us for curated and planned tours outside of the standard tour collection.
What should I ask before booking a guided tour?
Ask about route distance, riding pace, stopovers, weather plans, motorcycle availability, passenger options, and what is included in the tour price.
What happens if the weather changes?
Cape weather can change quickly. Route timing and riding conditions should be confirmed close to your ride date.

Can I experience a ride without a motorcycle license?
Yes. We offer chauffeured motorcycle experiences with qualified riders, so you can enjoy the ride as a passenger.
What do I need for a chauffeured ride?
You need a copy of your identity document or passport and a signed indemnity form.
Are chauffeured rides suitable for special occasions?
Yes. Chauffeured rides are suitable for tourists, couples, birthdays, photoshoots, and special Cape Town experiences.

How do I book a motorcycle rental or tour?
Contact us with your preferred date, ride type, motorcycle model or tour name, group size, and any route ideas.
What is your cancellation policy?
A 24-hour notice is required for cancellations. A 30% cancellation fee applies.
Can international visitors book?
Yes. International visitors should confirm license, passport, deposit, insurance, and credit card requirements before booking.
Should I book in advance?
Yes. Booking in advance is recommended, especially for specific motorcycle models, guided tours, weekends, and multi-day trips.
